MOURNING the death of Clint Adam Hollingsworth,
Tupper Lake Town Supervisor, committed community
member, and family man

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to pay tribute to
citizens of the State of New York whose lifework and civic endeavor
served to enhance the quality of life in their communities and this
great Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Clint Adam Hollingsworth of Tupper Lake, New York, died on
Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at the age of 47; and

WHEREAS, Born on December 19, 1974, Clint Adam Hollingsworth was a
native to Tupper Lake, attending Tupper Lake Central School before
attending Herkimer Community College, and later, North Country Community
College, where he received a degree in Business; and

WHEREAS, Clint Adam Hollingsworth distinguished himself in his
profession and by his sincere dedication and substantial contribution to
the welfare of his community; and

WHEREAS, His commitment to excellence, and his spirit of humanity,
carried over into all fields of enterprise, including charitable and
civic endeavors; and

WHEREAS, A respected businessman and contractor, Clint Adam
Hollingsworth owned and operated Hollingsworth Carpentry and Renovation
for 17 years; one of his latest projects was the development and
construction of the Sunnyside Cabins vacation rentals in Tupper Lake;
and

WHEREAS, Clint Adam Hollingsworth served his community in the
capacity of a village trustee on the Tupper Lake Village Board for more
than two terms and most recently was appointed the Town of Tupper Lake
Supervisor; he also served as the judge for the Town of Piercefield
where he was proud to have officiated many weddings; he led in both
positions with noticeable passion, and was a visionary for his beloved
hometown; and

WHEREAS, Hobbies of his included singing and playing music with his
band The Frickerz, spending time out on the lake, relaxing by a campfire
telling stories and reliving past adventures, skiing with his wife and
kids, playing ice hockey, and enjoying hunting with friends and family;
and

WHEREAS, Clint Adam Hollingsworth is survived by his wife, Alison;
daughter, Lily; son, Cash; his parents, Michelle Hutchins and her fiance
Ricky Tessier, and Armon "Tinker" and Glenda Hollingsworth; grandmother,
Sula Mandigo; mother-in-law, Marie Lewis; step-sister, Traci Goff;
in-laws, Robert (Cindy) Lewis, Natalie (Ed) McMahon, Monica (Steve)
Gagnon, Heather Naegele, Tracy (Jerry) Fletcher and Jack Lewis; as well
as many nieces and nephews and numerous cousins, including Melissa
Howard who he cherished like a sister; and


WHEREAS, He was predeceased by his grandparents Floyd and Jane
Hutchins, Robert Mandigo and his father-in-law Robert Lewis; and

WHEREAS, Armed with a humanistic spirit and imbued with a sense of
compassion, Clint Adam Hollingsworth leaves behind a legacy which will
long endure the passage of time and will remain as a comforting memory
to all he served and befriended; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
mourn the death of Clint Adam Hollingsworth, Tupper Lake Town
Supervisor, committed community member and family man; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the family of Clint Adam Hollingsworth.
