BRAUNSTEIN -- read once and referred to the Committee on Cities AN ACT to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring notice to members of the legislature and certain local officials relating to certain construction and other projects affecting such members' and officials' districts; and to amend a chap- ter of the laws of 2022 amending the administrative code of the city of New York and the public authorities law relating to requiring notice to members of the legislature and certain local officials relating to certain construction and other projects affecting such members' and officials' districts, as proposed in legislative bills numbers S. 4013-A and A. 355-A, in relation to the effectiveness ther- eof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 19-159.6 of the administrative code of the city of New York, as added by a chapter of the laws of 2022 amending the admin- istrative code of the city of New York and the public authorities law relating to requiring notice to members of the legislature and certain local officials relating to certain construction and other projects affecting such members' and officials' districts, as proposed in legis- lative bills numbers S. 4013-A and A. 355-A, is amended to read as follows: § 19-159.6 Notice requirement for public utility companies. a. A public utility company, as defined in section two of the public service law, issued a permit valid for more than seven days by the commissioner pursuant to this subchapter TO PROVIDE IMPACTFUL WORK shall provide notice OF SUCH WORK to the affected borough president, the council member or members of the affected council district or districts, the senator or senators of the affected senate district or districts, the member or members of assembly of the affected assembly district or EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted.
