GLICK -- read once and referred to the Committee on Environmental Conservation AN ACT to amend chapter 550 of the laws of 2013 amending the environ- mental conservation law relating to establishing the mercury thermo- stat collection act, in relation to the effectiveness thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 4 of chapter 550 of the laws of 2013, amending the environmental conservation law relating to establishing the mercury thermostat collection act, is amended to read as follows: § 4. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be deemed repealed January 1, [2024] 2025. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD11659-01-3
