O'DONNELL -- read once and referred to the Committee on Tourism, Parks, Arts and Sports Development AN ACT to amend the parks, recreation and historic preservation law, in relation to composting facilities in state parks THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 3.09 of the parks, recreation and historic preser- vation law is amended by adding a new subdivision 24 to read as follows: 24. PERMIT COMPOSTING FACILITIES AT STATE PARKS WHEN SUCH COMPOSTING FACILITY DOES NOT HARM THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT OR INTEGRITY OF THE PARK. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD13156-01-3
