 Introduced  by  Sen. MATTERA -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
   printed to be committed to the Committee on Local Government
 
 AN ACT to amend chapter 431 of the laws of 2018 relating to  authorizing
   the  state  commissioner  of transportation to convey real property to
   the town of Huntington, county of Suffolk, in  relation  to  extending
   certain provisions
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section 1. Sections 4 and 5 of chapter 431 of the laws of 2018 author-
 izing the state commissioner of transportation to convey  real  property
 to  the  town  of  Huntington, county of Suffolk, are amended to read as
 follows:
   § 4. The state commissioner of transportation shall not grant the land
 description in section two of this act unless application is made there-
 for by the town of Huntington within [five] SIX years after  the  effec-
 tive  date  of  this  act.  No  improvements shall be made prior to said
 transfer's completion.
   § 5. The land description in section two of this act shall  revert  to
 the  state unless improvements are made by the town of Huntington within
 [five] SIX years after the effective date of this act.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
