Bills Approved by the Cultural Affairs, Tourism, Parks and Recreation Committee

On Wednesday, May 27, 2009 the Cultural Affairs, Tourism, Parks and Recreation Committee approved the following five bills, four of which will proceed to the Senate calendar where they will be reviewed for a floor vote. Bill S2532A will go to the Senate's Finance Committee.

S3025: An act to amend the navigation law, in relation to reporting policies and procedures regarding vessels involved in an accident.
 
S3351A: An act to amend the parks, recreation and historic preservation law, in relation to the membership of the Saratoga-Capital district regional park, recreation and historic preservation commission.
 
S5474: An act to amend the navigation law, in relation to pilotage rates at sandy Hook, Sands Point or Execution Rocks. 

S5483: An act to amend the parks, recreation and historic preservation law, in relation to allowing the New York State heritage areas advisory council to have appropriate representation on the council for federal heritage areas.
 
S2532A: An act to amend the parks, recreation and historic preservation law, in relation to providing free use of state parks for veterans and surviving spouses or domestic partners of those killed in combat. (This bill will go to the Senate's Finance Committee)
