Fifth-grade students from St. Michael School in Penn Yan visit State Capitol

Senator O'Mara and the St. Michael School fifth graders on the historic "Million Dollar Staircase" in the State Capitol.

Albany, N.Y., June 10—State Senator Tom O’Mara (R,C,I-Big Flats) welcomed a 5th-grade class from St. Michael School in Penn Yan, New York to the New York State Capitol on Thursday, June 9, 2016.

The students, who were accompanied by parents and their instructor, Keith Prather, were in Albany as part of a class trip.

“It’s always great to see students, and their families and teachers, from back home and to have the opportunity to showcase our historic State Capitol. Thank you to Mr. Prather and his class for a great visit,” said Senator O’Mara.
