Senator James Skoufis (D-Orange County) joined local officials to celebrate $359,000 in grant funding awarded to the Cornwall Central School District. The funding will be allocated to enhance the school district’s security infrastructure as well as revamp its recreational and athletic facilities. This significant investment was secured through the Senator’s efforts to bolster public safety and foster an enriched educational environment for local families.

“The educational environment a student experiences plays a crucial role in shaping their capacities and academic success,” said Skoufis. “This substantial funding will enrich our young learners with safe, modern facilities for physical and social activity. I am pleased to reinvest these dollars back into their educational journeys, ensuring a supportive environment for development.”
