Elmira, N.Y., January 6—To help kick off the new year in New York State government,  which officially got underway Wednesday in Albany with Governor Andrew Cuomo’s second State of the State message, Senator Tom O’Mara (R-C, Big Flats) today announced 2012 contact information for his district offices in Elmira and Bath, and his Albany office.

O’Mara represents New York’s 53rd Senate District encompassing Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben and Yates counties, and a portion of Tompkins County (the city and town of Ithaca, and the towns of Enfield, Newfield and Ulysses).

He encouraged 53rd District residents to contact any of his offices for state government assistance.

"No one should hesitate to contact our offices for assistance, to address concerns, answer questions, help facilitate access to state programs and services, or even just as a sounding board for suggestions and ideas for better government.  Constituent service remains the highest responsibility and I’m here to serve as this region’s first contact with state government," said O’Mara.
