Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently attended the grand opening of Modera Mineola.

Modera Mineola is a transit oriented development with 275 apartments located in Mineola’s downtown, close to the Mineola Train Station and multimodal transit center.  Built by Mill Creek, it was designed using ‘smart growth’ concepts consistent with the Village’s Master Plan, which was developed with input and support from the Mineola community.  The project, along with its component Hudson House, a senior housing complex, was first proposed and vetted during Senator Martins’ tenure as Mayor of Mineola and continued under current Mayor Scott Strauss.
