Senator Jeff Klein Hosts Famed British Balladeer Engelbert Humperdinck at Seton Park

Acclaimed artist Engelbert Humperdinck serenades concertgoers at Senator Klein’s Summertime Symphonies Series

BRONX, NY - State Senator Jeff Klein (D-Bronx/Westchester) hosted Engelbert Humperdinck at Seton Park on Tuesday. The British balladeer serenaded a crowd of more than 500 concertgoers as part of Senator Klein’s Summertime Symphonies Series.  

“Engelbert Humperdinck is a beloved music icon who has inspired generations of people and entertained millions of fans around the world. I was proud to welcome him to The Bronx and was thrilled to be able to to bring the community together for a fun-filled summer evening. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate and I look forward to many more fun events coming up this summer,” said Senator Jeff Klein.

Throughout the night, families and children danced along to their favorite ballads, including heart-melting songs like “Release Me,” “Spanish Eyes,” and “For The Good Times.” Humperdinck’s impressive musical achievements include 150 million records sold, four Grammy nominations, a Golden Globe for “Entertainer of the Year,” and multiple gold & platinum records.

“I was happy to perform at Senator Jeff Klein’s Summertime Symphonies Series at Seton Park.  It was a great night and I’m glad everyone was able to come out and join me for a wonderful evening under the stars,” said Engelbert Humperdinck.
