ALBANY, N.Y. -- Senator Marc Panepinto released the following statement following Governor Cuomo’s 2016 State of the State Address:

“Today, Governor Cuomo outlined a detailed and aggressive agenda focused on lifting up millions of New Yorkers to lay the groundwork for increased economic success. I am thrilled that many of the social and economic initiatives outlined by the Governor today mirror many of the issues I prioritized during my first year as Senator. Protecting and preserving our environment, transitioning our remaining coal plants, rebuilding our state and local infrastructure, tackling the devastating effects of poverty, increasing educational spending, putting an end to the Gap Elimination Adjustment, restoring our residents trust in Albany and finally putting an end to corporate welfare for multi-billion dollar corporations and winning the Fight for $15 are significant but attainable goals that I fiercely support. I believe we can achieve these and and many more together. Together, I look forward to advocating on behalf of the residents of the 60th State Senate District, putting a definitive end to social and economic justices they face on a daily basis and create a New York State all residents can be proud of once and for all.”
