Harckham Releases 2021 Tax Returns

Peekskill, NY – New York State Senator Pete Harckham, now in the second year of second term in office, released a copy of his 2021 tax returns today, which, along with his 2020 tax returns, completes his tax disclosures for the past seven years.

In 2018, Harckham made copies available of his 2015, 2016 and 2017 returns during his initial campaign for the State Senate.

“By making tax returns public, residents can see my annual income and that I pay my fair share of taxes,” said Harckham. “I am committed to transparency on my taxes and letting the public see there are no conflicts of interest when it comes to my earnings.”

Harckham earned $125,232 last year and incurred $18,810 in federal taxes and $6,553 in state taxes. A copy of Harckham’s 2021 federal and state tax forms can be made available to accredited journalists, who are welcome to view (but not copy or photograph) the forms by appointment during regular office hours.

Harckham’s salary as a State Senator in 2021 was $114,623. The remainder of his earnings last year was from investments.

A certified public accountant in Mount Kisco completed Harckham’s 2021 tax forms.
