Senator Bill Weber’s Response to State of the State Address

While we were all happy to hear Kathy Hochul talk about crime, amending bail reform, the high cost of housing and living, and improving our mental health system, we must examine the fine print.

A tax increase off the table is certainly good news, but we all know that this state taxes too much and spends recklessly. That, along with an alarming rise in crime, is driving our population loss.

The legislature must address these pertinent issues this session, and I am thankful for my constituents in district thirty-eight who elected me to participate in that discussion.
