Caring with Confidence: A Roadmap for the Years Ahead
These events will dive into the practical steps for supporting aging family and friends. Often, families find themselves unprepared when a loved one needs additional care or support. "Caring with Confidence: A Roadmap for the Years Ahead" offers essential guidance through two comprehensive virtual sessions.
Session 1 (October 20 at 6pm) focuses on “Legal, Financial and Healthcare Tools,” featuring expert presentations on the five essential legal documents everyone needs for life planning, navigating Medicare and Medicaid, and accessing community benefits and services.
Session 2 (October 27 at 6pm) addresses “Understanding Aging, Dementia and Caring for Individuals with Long-term or Chronic Illness”, with specialized guidance on Alzheimer's caregiving and managing Parkinson's and movement disorders.
Moderated by attorney Judith Grimaldi and featuring healthcare professionals and social workers, these sessions provide practical tools and expert insights to help you navigate the complexities of eldercare with confidence. Both sessions are free and online only.
