
Free Supply Distribution Program for Hurricane Sandy Victims- Wantagh
Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) and Long Island Cares will be sponsoring a free supply distribution program in Wantagh to help residents affected by Hurricane Sandy.
The program will take place on Tuesday, January 22nd at Wantagh Park, located at 1 King Road in Wantagh, just off of Merrick Road, between 11 am and 2 pm.
At the program, Long Island Cares will distributing the following items free of charge to families who have been affected by Hurricane Sandy:
• Cleaning supplies
• Protective masks
• Trash bags
• Heaters
• Blankets
• Water
• Non-perishable food
• Pet food
• Plastic storage bins
Long Island Cares will serve individuals on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. No appointments are required.
