Join Senator José M. Serrano and Congressman José E. Serrano for their Annual Black History Month Celebration! This year's celebration will take place on Tuesday, February 24, from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM, at The Bronx Museum of the Arts, located on 1040 Grand Concourse, between E. 165th & E. 166th Streets, Bronx, NY 10456.
This year's honorees are Mary E. Coleman, Vice President for Administration and Finance at Stella and Charles Guttman Community College; Margarette Purvis, President and Chief Executive Officer at The Food Bank for New York City/Food for Survival; David Shuffler, Executive Director at Youth Ministries for Peace and Justice; and Kenneth J. Knuckles, President and Chief Executive Officer at Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone.
