Diabetes in the Pediatric and Adolescent Populations

Please join me for a special program, "Diabetes in the Pediatric and Adolescent Populations," on Thursday, August 24th from 10am to 11am at the Levittown Public Library (1 Bluegrass Lane, Levittown).

Margaret Pellizzari, Certified Diabetes Educator at Cohen Children's Medical Center, will discuss various topics related to childhood diabetes including blood glucose monitoring, the symptoms and treatment of hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia, obesity and recommended lifestyle changes, understanding the new technology in diabetes management including insulin pumps and continuous glucose sensors as well as other important topics concerning pediatric and adolescent diabetes.
