Learn to recognize an overdose and reverse it to save a life.
Senator Kevin Thomas is sponsoring this training in conjunction with the Nassau County Department of Human Services to teach residents what to do in case of an overdose and to help them learn how to administer the lifesaving, overdose-reversal agent called Naloxone, or “NARCAN.” Additionally, participants will learn about treatment and recovery options for those living with substance use disorders.
All attendees will receive a free package of NARCAN.
