Brooklyn - State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) will host a rally and protest against the Metropolitan Transit Authority bus service reductions on Tuesday, October 19, 2010, starting at 5:30 p.m., at the corner of Bay Ridge Avenue and 3rd Avenue.
Senator Golden is organizing the rally in advance of the October 21st State Supreme Court hearing where arguments of the lawsuit filed against the Metropolitan Transit Authority will be presented to Judge Kenneth Sherman by expert counsel hired by Senator Golden
An additional rally against the service cuts is scheduled for Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. in front of Kings County Supreme Court, 360 Adams Street, on Cadman Plaza (West side of the building). Members of the media are welcome.
