Homeowners facing foreclosure will be able to speak individually with a trained specialist from the Department of Financial Services who will: • Assist homeowners in the pre-foreclosure and foreclosure process; • Assist homeowners in their efforts to obtain loan modifications and other relief; • Provide information on available federal programs; • Offer guidance on how they can file complaints and seek resolutions with banks and mortgage servicers. Homeowners should bring copies of their mortgage documents, loan payment records, or any other information relevant to their personal situation which could be useful. NO APPOINTMENTS ARE NECESSARY
