SFY 2016-17 JOINT LEGISLATIVE BUDGET HEARING

HEARING ROOM B - LEGISLATIVE OFFICE BUILDING, ALBANY
Senate Finance Committee Chair Catharine M. Young and Assembly Ways and Means Committee Chair Herman D. Farrell, Jr. will hold a joint legislative public hearing on the 2016-2017 Executive Budget’s impact on the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
The hearing will be held on Thursday, February 25th, at 9:30 a.m. in Hearing Room B of the Legislative Office Building, Albany.
Metropolitan Transportation Authority Chairman Tom Prendergast, Chief Financial Officer Robert Foran and Senior Director of Capital Programs Craig Stewart will provide testimony to the Senate and Assembly fiscal committees.
This joint hearing will be available for viewing on the Senate and Assembly websites. The Legislative Channel (on cable systems throughout the state) also will carry the proceedings, which will be preempted when the houses are in session. At the conclusion of the legislative deliberations, the channel will resume televised coverage of the hearings.
