S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 11387 I N A S S E M B L Y June 8, 2010 ___________ Introduced by COMMITTEE ON RULES -- (at request of M. of A. Latimer) -- read once and referred to the Committee on Transportation AN ACT to authorize approval of certain transportation contracts of the Mamaroneck union free school district THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. All the acts done and proceedings heretofore had and taken or caused to be had and taken by the Mamaroneck union free school district and by all officers, employees or agents of such school district relating to or in connection with transportation contract C-412087 of the 2008-2009 school year, and all acts incidental thereto are hereby legalized, validated, ratified and confirmed, notwithstanding any failure to comply with the contract award, approval, and filing provisions of the education law, the general municipal law or any other law or any other statutory authority, rule or regulations, other than those filing provisions defined in paragraph a of subdivision 5 of section 3604 of the education law, in relation to any omission, error, defect, irregularity or illegality in such proceeding had and taken. S 2. The education department is hereby directed to consider the aforementioned contracts for transportation aid as valid and proper obligations of the Mamaroneck union free school district. S 3.
