S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 11652 I N A S S E M B L Y July 6, 2010 ___________ Introduced by COMMITTEE ON RULES -- (at request of M. of A. Scarborough, Peoples-Stokes) -- read once and referred to the Committee on Children and Families AN ACT requiring the office of children and family services to submit a report on manageable workloads for adult protective services workers THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The office of children and family services shall review and recommend manageable workloads for adult protective services workers in order to allow sufficient time for each worker to meet all requirements and allow for the comprehensive assessment of services for adults and families. A full report and recommendations on manageable workloads for adult protective services workers shall be submitted to the governor, the temporary president of the senate, the speaker of the assembly and the chair of the senate committee on social services, children and families and the chair of the assembly committee on children and families by December 1, 2011. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD17968-01-0
