Introduced by Sens. THOMPSON, KRUEGER, ONORATO -- read twice and ordered
  printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Labor --
  committee  discharged,  bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and
  recommitted to said committee

AN ACT to repeal subdivision 11 of section 590 of the labor law,  relat-
  ing to unemployment benefits based on non-professional employment with
  certain educational institutions

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1.   Subdivision 11  of  section  590  of  the  labor  law  is
REPEALED.
  S 2. This act shall take effect on the first of February next succeed-
ing the date on which it shall have become a law.
  REPEAL NOTE.--Subdivision 11 of section 590 of the labor law, proposed
to be repealed by section one of this act, relates to limiting the unem-
ployment  insurance  benefits  which  a  non-professional employee of an
educational institution may receive during vacation periods.
