AN  ACT  to amend chapter 457 of the laws of 2005 amending the judiciary
  law and other laws relating to use of credit cards to pay fees,  fines
  and surcharges, in relation to extending the effectiveness thereof

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Section 7 of chapter 457 of the laws of 2005  amending  the
judiciary  law  and  other  laws  relating to use of credit cards to pay
fees, fines and surcharges, is amended to read as follows:
  S 7. This act shall take effect immediately and shall  expire  and  be
deemed  repealed  [5  years after such date] SEPTEMBER 1, 2011; provided
that section four of this act shall take effect on the first of  January
next succeeding the date on which it shall have become a law.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
