AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation to the  lieuten-
  ant governor serving as ex-officio member of every public authority

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Section 2825 of the public authorities law  is  amended  by
adding a new subdivision 4 to read as follows:
  4.  THE  LIEUTENANT  GOVERNOR  SHALL  SERVE AS AN EX-OFFICIO MEMBER OF
EVERY PUBLIC AUTHORITY IN THIS STATE.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
