AN ACT to amend part OO of chapter 59 of the laws of 2006  amending  the
  racing, pari-mutuel wagering and breeding law relating to thoroughbred
  racing  and  breeding,  in relation to extending certain provisions of
  such chapter for one year

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.  Section  6  of part OO of chapter 59 of the laws of 2006,
amending the racing, pari-mutuel wagering and breeding law  relating  to
thoroughbred racing and breeding, is amended to read as follows:
  S  6.  This  act  shall  take  effect  on April 1, 2006; provided that
sections two, four and five of this  act  shall  expire  and  be  deemed
repealed  on  March  31, [2007] 2010; provided, however, that the amend-
ments to paragraphs a and b of subdivision  1  of  section  527  of  the
racing, pari-mutuel wagering and breeding law, as made by section one of
this  act  shall survive the expiration and reversion of such paragraphs
as provided in section 32 of  chapter  281  of  the  laws  of  1994,  as
amended.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
