AN ACT to authorize payment of transportation aid to the South  Hunting-
  ton union free school district

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. All the acts done and proceedings heretofore had and  taken
or  caused to be had and taken by the South Huntington union free school
district and by  all  officers,  employees  or  agents  of  such  school
district  relating  to  or  in  connection  with  certain transportation
contracts of the 2005-2006 school year with various contractors, and all
acts incidental thereto are hereby legalized,  validated,  ratified  and
confirmed,  notwithstanding  any  failure  to  comply  with the contract
awards, approvals and filing provisions of the  education  law,  general
municipal law or any other law or any other statutory authority, rule or
regulation, other than the filing provisions contained in paragraph a of
subdivision  5  of section 3604 of the education law, in relation to any
omission, error, defect, irregularity or illegality in  such  proceeding
had and taken.
  S  2.  The  education  department  is  hereby directed to consider the
aforementioned contracts for transportation  aid  as  valid  and  proper
obligations of the South Huntington union free school district.
  S 3. This act shall take effect immediately.

  ton union free school district

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1. All the acts done and proceedings heretofore had and taken
or caused to be had and taken by the South Huntington union free  school
district  and  by  all  officers,  employees  or  agents  of such school
district relating  to  or  in  connection  with  certain  transportation
contract  numbers  612195,  612197,  612196,  800367,  800379,  E612183,
300044, 800425, 300045 and E701154 of the  2005-2006  school  year  with
various  contractors,  and all acts incidental thereto are hereby legal-
ized, validated, ratified and confirmed, notwithstanding any failure  to
comply  with the contract awards, approvals and filing provisions of the
education law, general municipal law or any other law or any other stat-
utory authority, rule or regulation, other than  the  filing  provisions
contained  in paragraph a of subdivision 5 of section 3604 of the educa-
tion law, in relation to any omission, error,  defect,  irregularity  or
illegality in such proceeding had and taken.
  S  2.  The  education  department  is  hereby directed to consider the
aforementioned contracts for transportation  aid  as  valid  and  proper
