BALL, BURLING, P. LOPEZ -- read once and referred to the Committee on Environmental Conservation AN ACT to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the use of kayaks on the city reservoirs THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The opening paragraph of section 24-359 of the administra- tive code of the city of New York is designated subdivision 1 and a new subdivision 2 is added to read as follows: 2. IN ADDITION TO THE ICE CUTTING AND FISHING AUTHORIZED PURSUANT TO SUBDIVISION ONE OF THIS SECTION, AND SUBJECT TO REASONABLE RULES AND REGULATIONS, KAYAKS MAY BE USED ON THE WATERS OF THE CITY'S RESERVOIRS. NOTHING SHALL BE THROWN, DROPPED OR OTHERWISE DISCHARGED FROM SUCH KAYAKS INTO THE WATER. THIS PROVISION IS NOTWITHSTANDING THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE OR ANY OTHER LAW, RULE OR REGULATION TO THE CONTRARY. S 2.
