AN ACT to amend the public service law, in  relation  to  requiring  the
  public service commission to post and maintain on its internet website
  any utility's reported rates and charges in the previous twelve months

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Paragraph (a) of subdivision 12 of section 66 of the public
service law, as amended by chapter 154 of the laws of 1989,  is  amended
to read as follows:
  (a)  Have power to require every gas corporation, electric corporation
[and], municipality, OR ENERGY SERVICE COMPANY OR  SUPPLIER  hereinafter
in  this subdivision called a utility to file with the commission and to
print and keep open to public inspection schedules showing all rates and
charges made, established or enforced or to be charged or enforced,  all
forms of contract or agreement and all rules and regulations relating to
rates, charges or service used or to be used, and all general privileges
and  facilities  granted  or  allowed  by  such utility[; but this]. THE
COMMISSION SHALL PUBLISH AND MAINTAIN ON ITS INTERNET WEBSITE ANY UTILI-
TY'S REPORTED RATES AND CHARGES MADE, ESTABLISHED  OR  ENFORCED  IN  THE
PREVIOUS  TWELVE  MONTHS.  THIS  subdivision  shall  not apply to state,
municipal or federal contracts, except  to  the  extent  such  contracts
relate to transportation of electricity.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
