ALESSI -- read once and referred to the Committee on Veterans' Affairs AN ACT to amend the parks, recreation and historic preservation law, in relation to providing a discount to veterans and current members of the armed forces on the annual vehicular access fee for a state park or recreational facility THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subdivision 5 of section 13.16 of the parks, recreation and historic preservation law, as added by chapter 89 of the laws of 1977, is amended to read as follows: 5. The office or other state agency having jurisdiction shall promul- gate such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this section, INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF A DISCOUNTED FEE FOR VETERANS AND CURRENT MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES WHO ARE RESIDENTS OF THE STATE.
