GORDON -- read once and referred to the Committee on Election Law AN ACT to amend the election law, in relation to information to be included on statewide voter registration application forms THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subparagraph (x) of paragraph (k) of subdivision 5 of section 5-210 of the election law, as amended by chapter 179 of the laws of 2005, is amended to read as follows: (x) The telephone number AND EMAIL ADDRESS of the applicant (optional). S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD14066-01-9
