SCHIMMINGER -- read once and referred to the Committee on Economic Development, Job Creation, Commerce and Industry AN ACT to amend chapter 391 of the laws of 2007 relating to directing the law revision commission to make recommendations to the legislature concerning a proposed revision of the alcoholic beverage control law, in relation to when certain reports are due THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 3 of chapter 391 of the laws of 2007 relating to directing the law revision commission to make recommendations to the legislature concerning a proposed revision of the alcoholic beverage control law, as amended by chapter 66 of the laws of 2009, is amended to read as follows: S 3. The law revision commission shall make a preliminary report to the governor and the legislature of its findings, conclusions, and recommendations not later than September 1, 2008, and a final report of its findings, conclusions and recommendations not later than [September 30] DECEMBER 15, 2009, and shall submit with its reports such legisla- tive proposals as it deems necessary to implement its recommendations. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD14793-01-9
