AN ACT to amend chapter 391 of the laws of 2007  relating  to  directing
  the law revision commission to make recommendations to the legislature
  concerning  a proposed revision of the alcoholic beverage control law,
  in relation to when certain reports are due

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.  Section  3 of chapter 391 of the laws of 2007 relating to
directing the law revision commission to  make  recommendations  to  the
legislature  concerning  a  proposed  revision of the alcoholic beverage
control law, as amended by chapter 66 of the laws of 2009, is amended to
read as follows:
  S 3. The law revision commission shall make a  preliminary  report  to
the  governor  and  the  legislature  of  its findings, conclusions, and
recommendations not later than September 1, 2008, and a final report  of
its  findings, conclusions and recommendations not later than [September
30] DECEMBER 15, 2009, and shall submit with its reports  such  legisla-
tive proposals as it deems necessary to implement its recommendations.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
