AN  ACT  in  relation to authorizing and directing the Battery Park city
  authority to sell commercial leases at Battery Park city

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1. Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, the Battery
Park city authority is hereby authorized  and  directed  to  enter  into
commercial  leases  for  terms  of  ninety-nine years for all commercial
properties located at Battery Park city.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
