AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation to the identification of
pharmacists
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 6808-a of the education law, as added by chapter
267 of the laws of 1974, is amended to read as follows:
S 6808-a. Identification of [Pharmacists] PHARMACISTS. Every pharma-
cist on duty shall be identified by a badge designed by the state board
of pharmacy, which shall contain his OR HER name and title. SUCH PHAR-
MACIST SHALL ALSO WEAR A COAT, SHIRT OR UNIFORM OF A DIFFERENT COLOR
THAN THE COATS, SHIRTS OR UNIFORMS OF THE OTHER EMPLOYEES OF THE PHARMA-
CY.
S 2. This act shall take effect on the one hundred twentieth day
after it shall have become a law. Effective immediately, the addition,
amendment and/or repeal of any rule or regulation necessary for the
implementation of this act on its effective date are authorized and
directed to be made and completed on or before such effective date.
