  when printed to be committed to the Committee on  Racing,  Gaming  and
  Wagering

AN  ACT  to  amend the racing, pari-mutuel wagering and breeding law, in
  relation to the distribution of surcharges on off-track winnings

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1. Paragraph b of subdivision 3 of section 532 of the racing,
pari-mutuel wagering and breeding law is amended by adding a new subpar-
agraph (vi) to read as follows:
  (VI) FOR THE PERIOD OF  SEPTEMBER  FIRST,  TWO  THOUSAND  SEVEN  UNTIL
AUGUST  THIRTY-FIRST, TWO THOUSAND TWELVE AND WHERE THE TRACK CONDUCTING
THE RACE ON WHICH THE BET WAS PLACED IS A HARNESS TRACK LOCATED  IN  THE
COUNTY OF ERIE, TO SUCH TRACK.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
