Introduced  by  Sen. ADDABBO -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
  printed to be committed to the Committee on Elections

AN ACT to amend the election law,  in  relation  to  delivery  of  paper
  ballots and repealing certain provisions of such laws relating thereto

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Section 8-310 of the election law is REPEALED.
  S 2. Section 8-312 of the election law is  amended  by  adding  a  new
subdivision 6 to read as follows:
  6.  PAPER  BALLOTS  BEING  USED  SHALL  BE DELIVERED TO THE VOTER IN A
MANNER CONSISTENT WITH RULES AND REGULATIONS PROMULGATED  BY  THE  STATE
BOARD OF ELECTIONS.
  S 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
