AN ACT to amend chapter 57 of the laws of  2009  amending  the  tax  law
  relating  to  the  annual information return providing the information
  about transactions with vendors, in relation to delaying the implemen-
  tation of filing provisions

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.  Section  3  of subpart G of part V-1 of chapter 57 of the
laws of 2009 amending the tax law relating  to  the  annual  information
return  providing  the  information  about  transactions with vendors is
amended to read as follows:
  S 3. This act shall take effect immediately, provided that  the  first
return  required  by  subdivision (i) of section 1136 of the tax law, as
added by section one of this act, shall be due on  or  before  September
20,  [2009] 2010 and shall cover the period March 1, [2009] 2010 through
August 31, [2009] 2010; provided, further, that the returns required  to
be  filed  by such subdivision on or before March 20, [2010] 2011, shall
cover the period from September 1, [2009] 2010 to  February  28,  [2010]
2011.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
