AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation to  granting  of
  discounted E-Z Pass privileges to SUNY and CUNY students

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Section 354 of the public authorities  law  is  amended  by
adding a new subdivision 14-a to read as follows:
  14-A.  TO  GRANT  DISCOUNTED  E-Z  PASS  PRIVILEGES  TO  ALL CURRENTLY
ENROLLED FULL TIME AND PART TIME STUDENTS OF THE STATE UNIVERSITY OF NEW
YORK AND THE CITY UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK.
  S 2. This act shall take effect on the one hundred twentieth day after
it shall have become a law; provided, however that the thruway authority
shall promulgate any rules and regulations necessary for the implementa-
tion of this act on or before such effective date.
