AN ACT in relation to dissolving the Corning Urban Renewal  Agency,  and
  to repeal title 79 of article 15-B of the general municipal law relat-
  ing thereto


  Section 1. Title 79 of article 15-B of the general  municipal  law  is
  S  2.  The powers, duties and unfinished business of the Corning Urban
Renewal Agency are transferred to the city of Corning, county  of  Steu-
ben.  All  assets,  liabilities and records of the Corning Urban Renewal
Agency are transferred to such city. For the purpose  of  succession  to
functions,  powers,  duties and obligations transferred and assigned to,
devolved upon and assumed by it pursuant to this act, such city shall be
deemed and held to constitute the  continuation  of  the  Corning  Urban
Renewal Agency.
  S 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
