MAGNARELLI, AUBRY, HOYT, GALEF, DESTITO, PERRY, PEOPLES-STOKES, RAMOS, LUPARDO, LIFTON, BARRON -- read once and referred to the Committee on Higher Education AN ACT making an appropriation for assistance to community college contract courses and workforce development THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. For additional aid for costs associated with state finan- cial assistance to community college contract courses and workforce development, an additional apportionment of two million dollars ($2,000,000) is hereby appropriated to the State University of New York under Community College Operating Assistance, Local Assistance Account, from the General Fund. S 2. Such moneys shall be payable on the audit and warrant of the state comptroller on vouchers certified or approved in the manner provided by law. S 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
