AN  ACT  to  amend  the  abandoned  property  law, in relation to notice
  requirements for unclaimed property

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1.  Subdivision 3 of section 601 of the abandoned property law
is amended by adding a new paragraph (d) to read as follows:
  (D)  A  PHONE NUMBER OF THE AGENCY, AUTHORITY, DEPARTMENT, DIVISION OR
OFFICE LISTING SUCH UNCLAIMED OR ABANDONED PROPERTY. SUCH  PHONE  NUMBER
SHALL  BE  LISTED  CONSPICUOUSLY, IN A FONT SIZE LARGER THAN THAT OF ANY
NAMES LISTED.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
