BILL NUMBER:S4845 TITLE OF BILL: An act in relation to dissolving the village of Medina housing authority and the village of Medina urban renewal agency; and to repeal title 124 of article 13 of the public housing law and title 88 of article 15-B of the general municipal law relating thereto PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL: To dissolve the Medina Housing Authority and Urban Renewal Agency SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: Section 1: Repeals Title 124 Article 13 of the public housing law Section 2: Provides for the transfer of the powers, duties, assets and business of the Medina Housing Authority to the Village of Medina Section 3: Repeals Title 88 of article 15-B of the general municipal law. Section 4: Provides for the transfer of the powers, duties, assets and business of the Medina Urban Renewal Agency to the Village of Medina.

MAZIARZ -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Housing, Construction and Community Development AN ACT in relation to dissolving the village of Medina housing authority and the village of Medina urban renewal agency; and to repeal title 124 of article 13 of the public housing law and title 88 of article 15-B of the general municipal law relating thereto THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Title 124 of article 13 of the public housing law is REPEALED. S 2. The powers, duties and unfinished business of the village of Medina housing authority are transferred to the village of Medina, coun- ty of Orleans. All assets, liabilities and records of the village of Medina housing authority are transferred to such village. For the purpose of succession to functions, powers, duties and obligations transferred and assigned to, devolved upon and assumed by it pursuant to this act, such village shall be deemed and held to constitute the continuation of the village of Medina housing authority. S 3. Title 88 of article 15-B of the general municipal law is REPEALED. S 4. The powers, duties and unfinished business of the village of Medina urban renewal agency are transferred to the village of Medina, county of Orleans. All assets, liabilities and records of the village of Medina urban renewal agency are transferred to such village. For the purpose of succession to functions, powers, duties and obligations transferred and assigned to, devolved upon and assumed by it pursuant to this act, such village shall be deemed and held to constitute the continuation of village of Medina urban renewal agency.
