ZEBROWSKI, GABRYSZAK, WEISENBERG, ORTIZ -- Multi-Sponsored by -- M. of A. LIFTON -- read once and referred to the Committee on Health AN ACT to amend the public health law, in relation to prohibiting smok- ing in correctional facilities THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subdivisions 17 and 18 of section 1399-o of the public health law, as amended by chapter 13 of the laws of 2003, are amended and a new subdivision 19 is added to read as follows: 17. zoos; [and] 18. bingo facilities[.]; AND 19. CORRECTIONAL FACILITIES AS DEFINED IN SECTION TWO OF THE CORRECTION LAW. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD00567-01-1
