JACOBS, PEOPLES-STOKES -- read once and referred to the Committee on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation to certain charges for the use of public highways in cities having a population in excess of one million THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Article 9 of the public authorities law is amended by adding a new title 13 to read as follows: TITLE 13 MISCELLANEOUS FEES, PERMITS, TAXES AND LICENSES SECTION 2990. CERTAIN CHARGES FOR THE USE OF PUBLIC HIGHWAYS. S 2990. CERTAIN CHARGES FOR THE USE OF PUBLIC HIGHWAYS. THE AUTHORITY GRANTED TO CITIES WITH A POPULATION OF ONE MILLION OR MORE, BY PARAGRAPH FOUR OF SUBDIVISION (A) OF SECTION SIXTEEN HUNDRED FORTY-TWO OF THE VEHICLE AND TRAFFIC LAW SHALL APPLY ONLY TO TOLLS, TAXES, FEES, LICENSES OR PERMITS IMPOSED PRIOR TO JUNE THIRTIETH, TWO THOUSAND THIRTEEN.
