AN ACT in relation to  authorizing  the  commissioner  of  environmental
  conservation  to  undertake projects to protect the Montauk Lighthouse
  from shore erosion

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.  Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, the
commissioner of environmental conservation shall also be  authorized  to
undertake  any  project  to  protect  the  Montauk Lighthouse from shore
erosion.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.

AN  ACT  authorizing  the  commissioner of environmental conservation to
  undertake projects to protect national historic landmarks  from  shore
  erosion

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the  contrary,  the
commissioner  of  environmental conservation shall also be authorized to
undertake any project to protect a national historic landmark, as desig-
nated by the  United  States  Secretary  of  the  Interior,  from  shore
erosion.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
