AN ACT to amend the transportation law, in  relation  to  transportation
  use on local roads

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. The transportation law is amended by adding a  new  section
113 to read as follows:
  S  113. TRANSPORTATION USE ON LOCAL ROADS. THE USE OF COMMON CARRIERS,
INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED  TO,  TRACTOR  TRAILERS  AND/OR  SEMI-TRAILER
TRUCKS,  IS  PROHIBITED  ON CERTAIN SPECIFIC LOCAL ROADS ALONG ROUTE 17,
ROUTE 32, AND ROUTE 300 WITH  INTENTIONS  OF  AVOIDING  THE  PAYMENT  OF
CERTAIN  TOLLS,  INCLUDING  BUT  NOT  LIMITED TO, THE TOWNS OF HILLBURN,
RAMAPO, SLOATSBURG, TUXEDO, SOUTHFIELDS, HARRIMAN, CENTRAL VALLEY, HIGH-
LAND MILLS, WOODBURY, CORNWALL, VAILS GATE AND NEWBURGH.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
