AN ACT to amend chapter 54 of the laws of  2014,  enacting  the  capital
  projects budget, in relation to making technical corrections thereto

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1.  Section 1 of chapter 54 of the laws of 2014, enacting  the
Capital  Projects Budget, is amended by repealing the items herein below
set forth in brackets and by adding to  such  section  the  other  items
underscored in this section.

  ment; for health and safety,  preservation
  of   facilities,  NEW  FACILITIES  program
  improvement or  program  change,  environ-
  mental  protection,  energy  conservation,

An  advance for the state share of financial
  assistance  to  community   colleges   for
  alterations and improvements to [existing]
  VARIOUS   facilities   including   service
  contracts,  memorandum  of  understanding,
  capital design, construction, ACQUISITION,
  reconstruction,  rehabilitation, equipment
  and personal service costs; for health and
  safety, preservation of facilities,  tech-
  nology  upgrades,  NEW  FACILITIES program
  improvements or program changes,  environ-
  mental  protection,  energy  conservation,
  accreditation, facilities  for  the  phys-
  ically  disabled,  and  related  projects,
  including costs incurred prior to April 1,
  2014, subject to a plan submitted  by  the
  state   university  and  approved  by  the
  director of  the  budget,  and  which  may
  include,  but  not be limited to, projects
  in the following schedule.   Notwithstand-
  ing  any other law to the contrary, all or
  a portion of the amounts hereby  appropri-
  ated may be suballocated or transferred to
  the state university construction fund for

  S  2.  This  act  shall take effect immediately and shall be deemed to
have been in full force and effect on and after April 1, 2014.
