AN ACT to  amend  the  public  health  law,  in  relation  to  including
  dentist's  offices  as  originating  sites  for purposes of telehealth
  delivery of services

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1. Subdivision 3 of section 2999-cc of the public health law,
as added by chapter 6 of the  laws  of  2015,  is  amended  to  read  as
follows:
  3.  "Originating  site"  means a site at which a patient is located at
the time health care services are delivered to him or her  by  means  of
telehealth.  Originating  sites  shall be limited to facilities licensed
under articles twenty-eight and forty of  this  chapter,  facilities  as
defined  in  subdivision  six of section 1.03 of the mental hygiene law,
private physician's OR DENTIST'S offices located within the state of New
York and, when a patient is receiving health care services by  means  of
remote  patient  monitoring,  the  patient's  place of residence located
within the state of New York or other temporary location located  within
or outside the state of New York.
  S  2.  This  act  shall  take  effect on the same date and in the same
manner as section 2 of chapter 6 of the laws of 2015 takes effect.
